Have your Web site printed Map with you, or your brochure Map. Turn off State Highway 4 between the Ohakune turnoff and Raetihi at the Ruatiti 22km sign and continue to follow the Ruatiti signs. Refer detailed map. As you enter the valley you will experience views of bush, mountains and rivers. Wind deep into the Ruatiti Valley and then as the road gets more remote and you leave the comfort zone of civilization behind, the west will close in around you, but don’t worry – it’s not far now…Then you arrive at Mellonsfolly Ranch where the real 'Old West' still lives on at the Old West Town of Waterfall Mountain.

Drive past the original Ranch buildings to the main Ranch Entrance. Drop off area is at the Livery Stable and parking is below the Barn. We do not permit motorcars on the main street of the Town so there is a short walk to the Hotel Reception. The town cannot be seen from the road. We keep our facilities solely for our guests. If you want to inspect the facilities for a conference or a special group visit you must ring for an appointment when there are no guests in residence. You cannot be admitted if you venture out without prior contact. It’s a long way to come to be disappointed! Admittance is only to deposit paid guests with a confirmed reservation.
